This Board will inform and advise the City Council on matters of public interest and need in relation to the resources and services of the Library system.

The Phoenix Library Advisory Board shall hold at least ten montly public meetings throughout the fiscal year beginning on July 1. Those meetings shall be advertised consistent with the open meeting laws and ordinances. Noon-1pm on the third Thursday of the month.

This Board will consist of seven members to be appointed by the City Council for three-year terms. In the case of vacancies in unexpired terms, members appointed to fill those terms shall be named by the Mayor, subject to approval by the Council.
