Ad-hoc Committee

Committee for the establishment of a Latino Cultural Center in the City of Phoenix to be chaired by Councilman Nowakowski and Councilwoman Guardado. The purpose of this ad hoc committee is to make recommendations concerning the next steps for such a center, including: 1. Develop a strategic plan for the Latino Cultural Center, which will result in business, programming, and partnership and fundraising strategies; and 2. Consider options for siting the Center, based on the 2017 Capital Assessment and Feasibility Study recommendations (multi-use space between 18,000 and 23,000 square feet in Downtown Phoenix).
